日常をつくろう小さな風景／わたしたちのインフラを考える

“Little Spaces That Mend Everyday Life: Thinking About Our Infrastructure”

日常はつくろいの行為を必要とするものだと思います。日常があたりまえのものとして充実するために、どのような仕組みが必要なのかを考えたいです。現在において社会インブラと定義されているものに限定する必要はないかと思います。また、全国に展開するような基幹的な規模のものを考えなくてもいいように思います。ある程度のひろがりをもつエリアにおいてインフラとなり、日常を下支えする仕組みを、都市と建築と共に考えていきたいと思います。
スタジオは、人々の自律的な活動や配慮の痕跡である「小さな風景」をリサーチし、その背後に広がるインフラの存在をつきとめるところから始めます。

I think that everyday life needs mending. I would like to explore what kind of mechanisms are needed to enrich our everyday life as a matter of course. There is no need to limit our scope to what is currently defined as social infrastructure. Also, I don’t think we need to go for something on a grand scale, like a nationwide network. Our goal is to think about a system that will become an infrastructure and support everyday life in a relatively expansive area, together with the city and architecture.
The studio will begin by researching “little spaces” that are traces of people’s autonomous activities and considerations, and identifying the infrastructure behind them.
